Learning to Learn (B.A.S.E.)
- Focuses on functional language, life skills, vocational training, and foundational academics.
- Supports students who may use limited vocal language or Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Provides individualized programming centered on pre-verbal and verbal skill development.
- Incorporates ADL (Activities of Daily Living) skills, social skills, music, arts & crafts, and physical education to foster well-rounded growth.
Learning to Lead (I Am I Can)
- Emphasizes comprehensive academic support, including ELA, math, science, social studies, and core knowledge.
- Helps students strengthen social and functional language skills while preparing for post-secondary opportunities and vocational success.
- Encourages communication, problem-solving, and greater independence through direct instruction and social-emotional development.
- Integrates social skills, music, arts & crafts, and physical education to support the student.
While each pathway is unique, both share the same goal: providing personalized support, meaningful opportunities, and a learning environment where every student can grow, succeed, and thrive.
