Emma began her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist before stepping into school leadership as a School Related Services Supervisor and Assistant Principal at our Academy for Young Minds campus. Those experiences taught her the value of communication and collaboration. She believes strong collaboration between educators, related service providers, BCBAs, families, and home teams are essential to supporting student growth and success.
As Building Leader, Emma’s role is to support our students, families, and staff while building a positive school community. Her focus is making sure our students have the support they need to learn, grow, and be successful. She’ll create a school where staff and families feel connected, supported, and know that we are working together in the best interest of every student.
“What I love most about Gersh is our team approach. Our teachers, therapists, BCBAs, families, and home teams all collaborate to support each student. Each team member brings a different perspective, and together, we can truly support the child. Seeing our students gain independence, develop new skills, and make progress in ways that are meaningful to them is what makes this work so rewarding.”
When asked what she enjoys most about working at Gersh Academy, Emma shared:
“If you enjoy being part of a collaborative team and want to make a difference for our students, Gersh is a great place to be. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from professionals across different disciplines, work together every day, and celebrate the growth and progress our students make both in school and in the community.”
Thank you, Emma, for your leadership, dedication, and the lasting impact you make. Your commitment helps create environments where our students and staff can truly succeed!
